So many
people are asking me about Gaylee Cooper I am giving him his own
page. Cooper has everything a Bengal should have , rounded
ears a real wild head, long in the body, tail not
overlong or thin, his eyes are deep gold, background colour
is pure gold and he has amazing large donut rosettes
which are black in outline with gold in the middle. Debbie is doing a
great job with him and he is gaining in confidence every day.
Cooper is happy to be on a harness and just loves life. You can
see his temperament is second to none.
Cooper was taken to his first cat show only 3 weeks after he
left us and won 'Best in Show' and 'Best of Best' his next show
is at the end of August.
The pictures below were all
taken by Debbie Groesz of mystic-softbengals and she has certainly got some terrific
shots of him. We are all very proud of him., and Debbie
'loves him to bits!'
Coopers story:
I was born one cold day in February and to begin
with I stayed with my mum a lot, nice and warm and
lots of milk on tap. As I grew quickly I was
soon trying out my feet and even did a bit of
exploring with my other brothers and sisters.
My second mum Gail was soon giving me tasty things
to eat and kept picking me up and saying what a nice
boy I was. I enjoyed that. I can remember
there being some nice toys to play with.
Didn't like going to the vets for vaccination much,
but was told it was for my own good. After that my
second mum was always photographing me and the rest
of my little crew. My third mum Debby
then came to see me and kept picking me up and
played too. I think she like me a lot. A few
weeks after that Debbie came back and put me in a
basket and took me for a long drive in the car, then
we were on a boat going over water, I was a bit
afraid at the time but Debbie kept telling me I was
OK. A few hours after that I was in my new
home with Debbie and her husband and two mini
adults. I soon took over their house and
Debbie put a harness on me so I could go out of the house,
great fun - Debbie's parents kept chickens - pure
bliss - they wouldn't let me get as close as I would
have liked. They even had a swimming pool but
again I wasn't allowed., perhaps I hadn't grown
enough!
Then one day I was taken to a Cat Show, never seen
so many cats all shapes and sizes, I got picked up
and put down so many times, I didn't know whether I
was coming or going! then my mum Debbie was
so excited when I won 'Best cat at the Show,' I
knew I was all the time, I had to be I was told so
often how beautiful I was. I'm quite looking
forward to the next one. |
