ABOUT US AND OUR AIMS
After winning UK SUPREME Kitten
with a Burmese chocolate boy I bred, (Gaylee Whiskey Mac) in 1991 I was
looking for a new challenge and so became one of the first breeders to
import Bengals into the UK. I went to the USA and stayed with Jean
Mill to ensure we got some of the best, and dependable Bengal cat lines.
The Bengal breed has moved on, and so have we; breeding clear gold pelts
with stunning rosetting, whilst retaining the wild appearance and having
the temperament of a loving family pet.
We were one of the first to import and show Bengals, and helped to
write the first UK Standard of points for them . For many
years we exhibited our Bengals 13 times a year at leading shows, including Jersey to
inform the public and the Judges that the temperament of Bengals was the
same as any other breed of cat.
We are small Bengal breeders and this is a hobby for us, so we are able to breed
for quality and not quantity. Our Bengal females and kittens live in our
home and are part of our family, (they are never caged outside). Kittens
raised this way have the best temperaments. Many hours are spent playing,
socializing and getting to know each kitten individually, as this will affect the rest of the kittens life, and their interactions with humans.
We do not believe that kittens raised in outside pens, and breeders who
breed so many kittens they have to employ staff to help, can have the same result. So do get in touch with us or come and see us.
Our Bengal kittens have been sent world wide including;- New Zealand, Russia, Norway,
Holland, Sweden, France, Germany, Egypt, USA and Finland, to help progress the Bengal
breed. We have always bred Bengals with the aim to develop and better the
breed. |
The studs we use have up to date pedigrees are fully rosetted with great
definition, with
wild head type and loving temperaments , from the best
and newest 09 USA and Canadian lines.
We specialise in black two tone
and donut outlined rosetted Bengals with pale golden glittered pelts
giving extreme contrast, and donut rosetted well defined blue eyed snows
as well as sparkling silvers. Bengals with a wild head type, long
bodies and the 'wow' factor.
We
have some of the newest Bengal lines. We bought in 3 new girls in
2008/9 with large donut rosetting and glittered pelts; a black donut
rosetted girl, a glittered Silver (Sparkler) with jet black rosettes
and to complete our little gang we have a fabulous blue eyed Snow girl
with prominent rosetting and striking blue ey es.; all with a
wild head type and good definition. We shall be bringing in a new
fab. blue eyed snow in 2010.
Our lines included the 'Abu' ALC line which was started by Bob Torquato of
San Diego. Gaylee played a major role in developing this ALC line,
by sending the only active F4 boy in the world back to the USA in 2001
when the ALC Abu died, to help them progress, thus securing this new ALC
line for the future of the Bengal breed worldwide.
Our Bengals have won numerous GCCF Merits and TICA Championship status around
the world.
Gaylee bred the first 'GREAT EUROPEAN AND GREAT
